I am an Associate Certified Coach with the ICF (International Coach Federation), the largest international coaching body.
My approach involves active listening and asking the right questions to reveal deeper truths. I aim to provoke as well as support and I pride myself on being able to connect with anyone from any background.

What?

According to The International Coaching Federation (ICF), coaching is

“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”

As your coach I commit to providing a safe, open and creative space for you to work through whatever issues you may be facing and help you make positive lasting changes.

How?

My approach requires:

  • Active listening to try to fully understand your motivations, drivers and values.
  • Challenging questions that provoke awareness of your current thinking and help you generate new personal insights and
  • Support and guidance towards identifying your goals and discovering strategies for achieving them.

Throughout our sessions I aim to create clarity and help you to develop the habit of positive thinking. The idea is not necessarily to find the easiest path, but the one that creates lasting change.

More about the process…

If you decide to go ahead with coaching sessions, we would then go on to:

  1. Create an agreement which starts with a conversation about what you want to achieve, what is going on in your life right now.
  2. Design a program that will help meet your needs. The program typically is made up of an initial 6 sessions. The agreement will include confidentiality, what you expect from me as a coach, what I expect from you as a coachee and how you want to work: face-to-face, phone, online meeting (Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp) or walking & coaching are all methods I offer.
  3. Decide the focus of the sessions – this is something led by you (what could significantly improve your life?)
  4. During the sessions I will ask powerful questions to elicit awareness and, depending on the situation, use NLP techniques to enhance the understanding of a situation or challenge and identify actions to achieve a goal or outcome.

Throughout our time working together, I will continue to check-in on and appraise the process to make sure it’s working for you. I always welcome feedback so that I can tailor the sessions specifically for you.
